ARRIVAL TO YOU APPOINTMENT Please fill out your intake form that was emailed to your before your appointment. If not, you are required to fill out paper work prior to your massage that will cut in to your appointment time.
All appointments have a specific time schedule and early arrival allows for a relaxed and unhurried experience. If late arrival is inevitable, your service may be shortened in order to keep on schedule. The original treatment time will be charged.
INFORMED CONSENT Prior to each service, informed consent form should be signed either via scheduler or paper document.
SCOPE OF PRACTICE Spring In Your Step wellness & beauty is a licensed professional and held to the highest standards of the American Massage Therapy Association. Massage is a profession in which the practitioner applies manual techniques, and may apply adjunctive therapies, the intention of positively affecting the health and well-being of the client.
We do not attempt to diagnosis or prescribe for medical conditions. Our services are not intended as an alternative for proper medical attention for specific conditions.
RESPECT FOR CLIENT NEEDS AND BOUNDARIES During your appointment I will happy to adjust pressure, temperature, music and work longer on area you request and avoid areas you don't want.
The client may choose to leave on as much clothing as needed for comfort, refuse any massage method and stop the massage at any time.
Clients will always be modestly draped. Only the area being worked on will be exposed.
Sexual interaction or discussion of ANY kind between client and therapist is NEVER appropriate.
CONFIDENTIALITY AND CONVERSATION All clients visits and conditions as confidential. As such, we will not discuss your visit with anybody without your permission. You may choose to talk or not talk during your massage. Conversation will be guided by the clients direction.
EXSISTING AND NEW MEDICAL CONDITIONS It is the responsibility of the client to keep the therapist informed of any medical treatments currently being taken and to provide written permission from a physician, chiropractor, physical therapist, ect., that the massage may be continued. The client must also keep the massage therapist informed of any changed in health conditions.
GIFT CERTICATES may still be redeemed after expiration date but only for the value in which the gift certificate was purchased for.
CANCELLATION POLICY Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel. If client fails to cancel within 24 hours or No CALL/No SHOW they will be charged 100% of the service cost. I will be there for your appointment and hope you show up as well. If you don't show up, that is a missed time slot someone else could have had. No one wants to show up to work and then not get paid. Please be considerate.
SICKNESS If you are sick, coming down with something, runny nose or coughing, please cancel the night before or the morning of your appointment prior to 8am.
If you come with any of the stated above, you may be denied your service and be charged for your service.
LATE ARRIVAL Your appointment is based on the time slot you choose, if you are late and there are appointments after you, you may not receive be able to receive an extension of time. You will still be charged your original reservation fee.
NO SHOW POLICY Unforeseen events happen, however please call or text if you cannot make your appointment by 8:00am the day of your appointment. It is important as a business to be compensated for reserved time slots.
Payments are made day of or prior to services. Cash, check or credit card. There will be a $1.50 fee for CC transactions over $50
We understand that privacy online is important to users of our Site, especially when conducting business. In addition to our direct collection of information, our third party service vendors (such as credit card companies, clearinghouses and banks) who may provide such services as credit, insurance, and escrow services may collect this information from our Visitors and Authorized Customers. We do not control how these third parties use such information, but we do ask them to disclose how they use personal information provided to them from Visitors and Authorized Customers. Some of these third parties may be intermediaries that act solely as links in the distribution chain, and do not store, retain, or use the information given to them.
We use Personally Identifiable Information to customize the Site, to make appropriate service offerings, and to fulfill buying and selling requests on the Site. We may email Visitors and Authorized Customers about research or purchase and selling opportunities on the Site or information related to the subject matter of the Site. We may also use Personally Identifiable Information to contact Visitors and Authorized Customers in response to specific inquiries, or to provide requested information.
Personally Identifiable Information about Authorized Customers may be shared with other Authorized Customers who wish to evaluate potential transactions with other Authorized Customers. We may share aggregated information about our Visitors, including the demographics of our Visitors and Authorized Customers, with our affiliated agencies and third party vendors. We also offer the opportunity to "opt out" of receiving information or being contacted by us or by any agency acting on our behalf.
Personally Identifiable Information collected by Bodywork Buddy is securely stored and is not accessible to third parties or employees of Bodywork Buddy except for use as indicated above.
Visitors and Authorized Customers may opt out of receiving unsolicited information from or being contacted by us and/or our vendors and affiliated agencies by responding to emails as instructed, or by contacting us at [email protected]
Cookies are used for a variety of reasons. We use Cookies to obtain information about the preferences of our Visitors and the services they select. We also use Cookies for security purposes to protect our Authorized Customers. For example, if an Authorized Customer is logged on and the site is unused for more than 10 minutes, we will automatically log the Authorized Customer off.
Bodywork Buddy uses login information, including, but not limited to, IP addresses, ISPs, and browser types, to analyze trends, administer the Site, track a user's movement and use, and gather broad demographic information.
Bodywork Buddy has entered into and will continue to enter into partnerships and other affiliations with a number of vendors. Such vendors may have access to certain Personally Identifiable Information on a need to know basis for evaluating Authorized Customers for service eligibility. Our privacy policy does not cover their collection or use of this information. Disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information to comply with law. We will disclose Personally Identifiable Information in order to comply with a court order or subpoena or a request from a law enforcement agency to release information. We will also disclose Personally Identifiable Information when reasonably necessary to protect the safety of our Visitors and Authorized Customers.
All of our employees are familiar with our security policy and practices. The Personally Identifiable Information of our Visitors and Authorized Customers is only accessible to a limited number of qualified employees who are given a password in order to gain access to the information. We audit our security systems and processes on a regular basis. Sensitive information, such as credit card numbers or social security numbers, is protected by encryption protocols, in place to protect information sent over the Internet. While we take commercially reasonable measures to maintain a secure site, electronic communications and databases are subject to errors, tampering and break-ins, and we cannot guarantee or warrant that such events will not take place and we will not be liable to Visitors or Authorized Customers for any such occurrences.

We provide Visitors and Authorized Customers with a mechanism to delete/deactivate Personally Identifiable Information from the Site's database by contacting [email protected]. However, because of backups and records of deletions, it may be impossible to delete a Visitor's entry without retaining some residual information. An individual who requests to have Personally Identifiable Information deactivated will have this information functionally deleted, and we will not sell, transfer, or use Personally Identifiable Information relating to that individual in any way moving forward.
We will let our Visitors and Authorized Customers know about changes to our privacy policy by posting such changes on the Site. However, if we are changing our privacy policy in a manner that might cause disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information that a Visitor or Authorized Customer has previously requested not be disclosed, we will contact such Visitor or Authorized Customer to allow such Visitor or Authorized Customer to prevent such disclosure.
