Since gaining my Massage Therapy License in 2014, I have worked as a dedicated practitioner with a variety of patients. As a passionate healer, I strive to help my clients understand their bodies while unveiling the gentle power of the healing arts. My goal is to help each one of my clients move from pain to restoration. I tailor my treatments to the specific needs of my patient. Time and again, I have been honored to experience my patients gain from the healing power of my treatments. To learn more about my therapy sessions and process, please contact me directly.
A Swedish massage is designed to relax the entire body by rubbing the muscles in long, light pressure, gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. The benefits of Swedish massage go beyond relaxation. It can help increase the level of oxygen in the blood and improve circulation and flexibility. In this session you will not receive deep tissue massage, so be sure to order a therapeutic session if you're looking for a more corrective treatment.
During this service I will seek to obtain a therapeutic benefit, using a range of techniques including (but not limited to) deep tissue and connective tissue . While therapeutic massage can be relaxing, the end goal of the session or series of sessions is not relaxation. It is to relieve pain and promote range of motion. Many of my clients find great relief from this session.
Cupping increases blood circulation and releases tense connective tissue where the cups are moved. This may relieve muscle tension, which can improve overall blood flow and promote cell repair. It may also help form new connective tissues and create new blood vessels in the tissue. I use silicone cups and follow the connective tissue zones with continuous motion.
