"Erin is truly exceptional. I cannot sing adequate praise. She is one of the two most effective massage therapists I’ve encountered in decades of getting this sort of bodywork. This is benchmark-setting quality.
My experience is with her orthopedic work. I’ve not gotten relaxing Swedish massage. I go to Erin for essentially physical therapy. Working out the insults of too many years of desk work, or the knocks caused by weekend-warrior sports.
And Erin is implausibly effective on banishing this stuff. It’s honestly like a medical intervention. I’ve gone in with some gnarly knots and hitches. Not only does Erin get through them, they tend to stay gone. (Something always crops up eventually, of course; but I’ve been shocked at how long the good effects of Erin’s work last.)
She responds to your stated needs. A session with Erin will not be generic. She approaches your specific issues in ways that you wouldn’t expect — because she knows so well what she’s doing. Both in terms of anatomy and technique. This is obvious knowledge, competence, skill. Mastery.
Believe me, I am not given to overstatement. (If everything is “amazing,” then . . . is anything, really?) One should deploy judgment carefully, it seems to me, with restraint and nuance. With that calibration set, let me repeat: Erin is genuinely first-rate. Top shelf. Leading edge of the curve. Pick your metaphor. An absolute standout. (I always think: This must be the level of physical therapy that elite athletes get.)
Erin is also a total pleasure, personally. And I always walk away having learned something about musculoskeletal anatomy. (The nerd-out session being a welcome bonus!) And, of course, with an outstanding massage. Run, if you can, hobble if you must; but get ye to Ms. Erin."
