Policies

General Service Policy

• Information given while booking an appointment and filling out your intake form must be accurate.
A valid email address needs to be provided. Fake names, or falsified details are not suitable for legally required client documentation.

•Please observe good hygiene. Aromatherapy only does do much, and clients after you deserve a clean, fresh environment as much as you do!

• Please arrive hydrated. Massage Therapy is most effective on hydrated muscle tissue. Massage Therapy is dehydrating, and can cause a rebound effect if you do not drink enough water following your appointment. Please follow all aftercare instructions given by your therapist to ensure maximum results.

•Mask Policy - During peak cold/flu/covid season, you may be asked to wear a mask to your appointment, so please have one ready. This is to ensure safety for high risk clients that frequent the studio. Everyone deserves a safe environment. Refusal to wear a mask when asked to do so will result in termination of session, as well as full cost of treatment.

• Massage Therapists must be respected for their knowledge, ability, and time. Racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, or anti-semitism will not be tolerated and will result in the termination of your session, full payment for cost of treatment, and a potential banning. Massage Therapy is Allied Healthcare, and consists of safe touch only. Inappropriate behavior of any kind is not tolerated. Lewd commentary, suggestive questions, crude gestures, exposure of genitalia, or any sort of inappropriate or unlawful request, will be met with the immediate termination of your session, full payment for cost of treatment, absolute banning from Zenergy, and a call to the Sheboygan Police Department.

•Do not come to an appointment under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs as they create unsafe conditions that are contraindicated for massage therapy. If the therapist can tell that you are not sober, you will be refused treatment and charged the full cost of the session.

• Please keep in mind that while pain medications make things more tolerable for those with acute pain, they dull the senses and can create unsafe conditions for massage therapy which are contraindicated. Do not use prescribed pain medications before your appointment time to ensure you are able to feel pressure to the best of your ability, so that you can guide the therapist as to what pressure is most comfortable and truly safe for you.

• By booking with Zenergy Therapeutics, you assume full responsibility in regard to any and all infectious disease. Zenergy Therapeutics adheres to strict and stringent regulations for sanitization and disinfection protocol, going above and beyond industry standard. By requesting an appointment you are acknowledging that you understand that Zenergy Therapeutics cannot eliminate all risk, and you are waiving your right to seek legal action against Zenergy Therapeutics, the owner, or any employees, in case of contracting an infectious disease on the premises. This policy was instated during the COVID-19 pandemic, and will remain moving forward.

• Clients are not allowed to bring other people with them to their appointment outside of the following situations - for translation purposes, a parent with their child, or to assist the client if they have issues walking, standing, sitting, dressing, or geting onto/off the massage table. Please make sure to do your best to arrive promptly at your scheduled time.

• Request of an appointment is an agreement to adhere to the policies at Zenergy Therapeutics. Policies may be adjusted or updated accordingly over time.
